"I was married in March of this year. Called state farm to have them change my name on the policy. The receptionist made a brand new policy for me instead of changing my name. When I started receiving two separate bills in the mail I called. That was April. She originally apologized and said she would fix it. Not a problem. Next month I received to more statements. I paid one and went on my business. That was May. Now it’s June and I’m receiving letters from DMV that I’ve got a lapse on my insurance. I call again. Same lady, says I am behind a month and when I prove I am not, she states she will correct. I’m July a man calls me. I’m frustrated now and I go into the office and prove with bank statements I am not behind. He apologizes, fixes the policies. I receive a few days later a refund for over payment. Great! Fast forward to September, I get a bill for $10 stating that I have a balance due because they have over paid my refund. But after that, I should be fine. Well here it is October, and I just received another bill from DMV that I now owe them almost $200 for lack of coverage. When I call again the same lady answers and says she’s tired of handling this and I just need to pay the fine caused by Her mistake or I will continue to receive letters from them. Terrible customer service. Admit when you are wrong and fix your screw ups."
